Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry devoted most of today’s letter to the subject of letter writing: what were Effie’s thoughts on his letters?; how much hers helped him; couldn’t she write everyday, if only four pages. He also commended his friend, Lillie Buttz, for marrying when her husband’s salary was only $400 per year.

“You can’t possibly imagine how much good your letter did me.” Osborn, Henry 1884-10-3
