Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

As if to make up for the lack of letters from Effie, Harry wrote her two today. In the first, he went over old territory. The second covered his longing for music and how he could satisfy it, as well as a recounting of the latest “dormitory mess.”

“I have just been having a cold lunch[,] one of your old letters.” Osborn, Henry 1884-10-7a

“I fear that you don’t favor my every day scheme.” Osborn, Henry 1884-10-7b
