Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

The letters written today were those for Christmas Day. Harry’s concentrated on how blessed he and Effie were. The story he used as an illustration was about one of the students at Purdue. Effie expressed her delight with the photograph that Harry had sent her and detailed her trip to the express office to send his package.

“Darling I am going to tell you a little story which I just learned last night.” Osborn, Henry 1884-12-22

“How can you expect me to settle down and write when you keep looking at me so steadily?” Osborn, Effie 1884-12-22
