Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Effie, Minnie and Rem had made it to New Orleans after a miserable train trip. Harry was confused that she was there as she hadn’t sent him a telegraph to let him know. He promised that he was not jealous of Rem.

“It may seem to you that Rem is a trifle unreasonable to want us both every minute but he cant bear to have either one of us out of his sight….” Osborn, Effie 1885-1-21

“When you are on the move you must send me constant postal cards at every change.” Osborn, Henry 1885-1-21a

“I feel sad & lonely for I can’t go to you in spirit because I don’t know where you are tonight.” Osborn, Henry 1885-1-21b
