Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry continued to fret over Effie’s whereabouts but held out hope that he would be able to see her on her way back to New York. Miss Weed’s offer to put Effie up at Purdue would make a visit by an unmarried woman acceptable.

“You must telegraph me at once on receiving this if you are still on the go & you must keep me posted too about your movements.” Osborn, Henry 1885-1-22
