Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry wrote another letter of complaint. Effie’s first letter was a short one that explained why she hadn’t written the night before. Her second was all about piano shopping with Sue and her visit with Harry’s family. The Professor Warder, whom Harry had visited, was Robert Browne Warder. Purdue University has a collection of articles that he wrote http://www4.lib.purdue.edu/archon/?p=collections/findingaid&id=983&q=. Effie’s Uncle Andrew was her mother’s brother Andrew Snyder.

“You do not deserve a letter tonight for you didn’t write to me on Monday or Tuesday….” Osborn, Henry 1885-2-6

“I’m so mad about my letter I dont know what to do.” Osborn, Effie 1885-2-6a

“I found them all piano mad and Sue more & more in love with that piano.” Osborn, Effie 1885-2-6b
