Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry wrote again about letters, this time in a more positive way, and explained why his weren’t as good as Effie’s. Bad weather had delayed her letter meant for Sunday but did not deter the ten men who showed up for his Sunday School class.

“And I fear that the separation has shown you one thing in me that may frighten you & that is a melancholy that is very hard to control.” Osborn, Henry 1885-2-15
