Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry wrote again of the loss of Effie’s mother’s savings and his need for letters. Effie wrote a short one because his mother was visiting.

“I don’t understand how one who is a true man can have this terrible feeling about mothers in law for darling you mother is to me almost as my own.” Osborn, Henry 1885-3-2

“I must have a run of luck soon, & then I’ll make you twice glad.” Osborn, Effie 1885-3-2
