Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry wrote about the health issue in his first letter and sympathized with Effie for finding relief in tears. In the second, health was also a topic, as was the latest news about Cousin Gus.

“I realize that you feel that your work requires you as much as mine does me.” Osborn, Henry 1885-3-21a

“I am not as fresh & elastic as I was in the Fall but work has nothing to do with that I know very well.” Osborn, Henry 1885-3-21b
