Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Health was on Harry’s mind, once again, in his first letter of the day. In the second, he covered a number of topics, including the things Effie had made for him, the Tippecanoe County Court House, the Indiana legislature’s action on Purdue’s funding, and his spending habits.

“Beware of drafts.” Osborn, Henry 1885-3-23a

“You dear girl I think about you all the time & yet there is something pleasant about using the things you have made for me.” Osborn, Henry 1885-3-23b
