Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

With no letter again from Effie, Harry returned to his frequent complaint. In between laments, he squeezed in some news about the Indiana legislature’s movement on Purdue’s appropriation. No citation has been found for the poem at the end of the letter.

“Of course it is selfish in us to want each other.” Osborn, Henry 1885-4-3
