Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Although both letters today, as usual, dwelt on love and letters, Harry also found time to write about his solution to the noisy pipe, several paintings, and activities at Purdue. An etching of “First Love Letter” by Knaus can be seen at http://collections.si.edu/search/results.htm?q=record_ID:nmah_1002413.

“Ha there is Osborn poor devil” Osborn, Henry 1885-4-8a

“I think it must tire you to have me for ever sighing & wailing when there are so many things to write about.” Osborn, Henry 1885-4-8b
