Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

In response to Effie’s last letter, Harry returned to his favorite topic – letters. He also advised that her mother needed a rest and change, not knowing that worse was to come.

“In spite of any notion to the contrary it is wrong for me to let you see my darker humors for it always makes you blue & unhappy.” Osborn, Henry 1885-4-11
