Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Although Effie’s letter was hopeful, it included more bad news, such as another crisis for Remsen Schenck that would involve her. The Seney pictures she mentions were paintings owned by banker and railroad man George I. Seney.

“We are settled at last and will stay here.” Osborn, Effie 1885-4-15
