Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

After worrying about Effie’s health, Harry wrote about events at Purdue, including nursing a sick student, James Ross.

Effie was tired after not sleeping well but she had good news; her mother’s and Aunt Jennie’s plans had changed. This was her last letter before being reunited with Harry.

“…I don’t see why you shouldn’t sell the time to me as well as to any one else.” Osborn, Henry 1885-6-8

Dont miss your train.” Osborn, Effie 1885-6-8
