Henry and Effie Osborn
Effie’s letter was relatively short because she had had company all day.
Harry told Effie a bit more about his journey and let her know of changes at Purdue, such as the rearrangement of his room, the new stage between Chauncey and Lafayette, and the perceived coldness of Miss Elder.
