Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

A disturbance in the dormitory and students’ lack of concentration were on Harry’s mind.

Effie was contemplating “making over” three old dresses. She enclosed several newspaper clippings for Harry’s perusal.

“…this is a species of hazing that we try to keep out.” Osborn, Henry 1885-9-22

“…if it does cure hay-fever, wont I be the happiest girl, and wont I spend my money for cocaine instead of spending it for handkerchiefs.” Osborn, Effie 1885-9-21
