Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Today, Harry talked about the trouble he was having with his piano practice. He also wrote of playing Scat with Misses Weed and Elder, his continuing trouble with poison ivy and his busy day.

Effie also wrote about poison ivy, as her mother seemed to have gotten it from the milkweed Harry had sent. Boarders moving out and in and her wide range of acquaintances also received attention.

“Get all the music you can now Darling for I warn you you will hunger & thirst for it when you come out here.” Osborn, Henry 1885-10-1

“The house has been in dreadful confusion, and writing has seemed impossible.” Osborn, Effie 1885-10-1
