Henry and Effie Osborn

In her first letter of the day, Effie wrote about her first lesson with her new pupil, Harry’s sisters, and shopping with her mother. In the second letter, she returned to the problems with his sisters but then concentrated on their future together.

“Mrs. McDonald is the most tiresome woman I have met for many a day.” Osborn, Effie 1885-10-6a

“…I rather look forward to going to Purdue at first.” Osborn, Effie 1885-10-6b
