Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Effie related a trick her friend Ada used to quell criticism, described more of her trip to Prospect Park, and recounted how she had added another student.

Harry’s letter was very short. He and Professor Huston had played flute and piano duets again and Dr. Smart seemed to be back to stay, at least for awhile.

“Take a poor disposition at best, & give it hay-fever, & our trouble, and it is pretty rough on the disposition.” Osborn, Effie 1885-10-19

I had good big crowd out & all seemed interested in the papers that were presented.” Osborn, Henry 1885-10-19
