Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

After venting about the post office, Effie finally filled Harry in on her conversation with her mother.

Emily Loag was also the main topic of Harry’s letter, in which he broached some ideas for her employment at Purdue.

“I am thoroughly enraged, and feel like choking some fool at Purdue or Lafayette.” Osborn, Effie 1886-1-8

“I often believe that your mother would not like a quiet life.” Osborn, Henry 1886-1-8
