Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

The weather continued to delay Harry and Effie’s letters but they were prepared for the disappointment. Effie wrote of paying a bill at Vantine’s (http://vantines.net/), which may be were the shippo vase was purchased. Harry talked about his letter to Effie’s mother.

“…I didn’t mean you when I called all those hard names.” Osborn, Effie 1886-1-11

“But Darling your letter about the talk was simply lovely lovely.  It is wonderful Effie how vividly you write about things.” Osborn, Henry 1886-1-11
