Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry wrote that the new teacher was not fitting in as well as had been hoped.

Nearly everyone at the boarding house, including Effie, had colds following the wedding. Still, she felt well enough to go out for some music.

“I must tell you darling about Miss Whipple.” Osborn, Henry 1886-1-16

“…I long as much for a little quiet place that I can call my own, where I can go and be free from interruption, as you do for more company.” Osborn, Effie 1886-1-16
