Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry went over the benefits and drawbacks to living at the dorm the following year. He also noted more illness on campus.

Effie wrote just a note, mainly to let Harry know that she was in good health.

“I never hear a word about Mamma anymore than if she weren’t alive.  Indeed she may be dead for all I know to the contrary.” Osborn, Henry 1886-2-3

“I have piles & piles & piles of things to say, and am just wild to say them, if I ever can get a chance.” Osborn, Effie 1886-2-3
