Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry dissected his own and his family’s dispositions. One thing he was looking forward to was a lighter teaching schedule in the fall.

Effie’s mother was still in a tizzy about finding a house.

“I hate & despise the whole mob of students & yet I feel kindly towards them & should be glad to be good friends with many of them if they were not such heathen[s] & the feeling that they are all stirred up & are trying to get ahead of me for once beat me.” Osborn, Henry 1886-4-3

“You know we came here in the fall & people are apt to forget that our lease expires the 1st of May.” Osborn, Effie 1886-4-3
