Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry continued to be concerned about the letter he wanted Effie to burn. He also weighed in on the cost of diplomas and described his room at Purdue.

Effie sent a post card to tell Harry when she was leaving to visit his family. Her letter recounted her search for her former music teacher, Carl Steinhaus.

“I should hate to have my ordinary letters seen.” Osborn, Henry 1886-5-18

“In great haste.” Osborn, Effie 1886-5-18a

“I left home this A.M. about 9:30, and went to Mrs. Drake’s, & after I left there went to Mrs. Ellis’ on an errand, and from there to try and find Mr. Steinhaus.” Osborn, Effie 1886-5-18b
