Henry and Effie Osborn at home

Henry and Effie Osborn

Harry wished he could be at Madison during Effie’s dressmaking. Instead, he was enjoying a peaceful campus and drinking chocolate sodas.

Effie felt that they were making good progress with the dressmaking, in spite of non-related activity. She let Harry know who his family thought should perform the wedding ceremony.

“There seems to be at present a first rate spirit manifested among the students.” Osborn, Henry 1886-5-24

“I supposed every thing was to be very quiet during these two weeks and I must say I am some what disappointed at finding that it isn’t to be at all quiet.” Osborn, Effie 1886-5-24
